What we kept seeing, and why the software we already had did not fit

The software existed. Not for them.
Fleet systems are priced and implemented for hundreds of vehicles and a six-month rollout. The operator with forty cars gets a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group and a month-end that never quite reconciles. We have sold to the first kind of customer for close to twenty years. The second kind was always turned away.

The UAE specifics were always bolted on.
Salik and Darb tolls, RTA fines, Emirates ID, a contract the renter can read in Arabic, a deposit that has to be held, deducted and released. Generic software treats each as a plug-in. Here they are the product, because they are where the money leaks.

So we started again.
SpectroNova Express is not a trimmed edition of something older. It is a new system on modern tech, phone-first, with the tolls, the deposit and the ledger at the centre, and it has run live with real UAE fleets since the first release.
